Richarlison is scheduled to undergo a medical with Tottenham Hotspur today after they agreed with Everton to sign the Brazilian international for a fee of around £50M.
Antonio Conte Keen On Richarlison
Richarlison has been Conte’s prime attacking target since the transfer window opened. Now there has been a breakthrough in discussions between the two clubs. Talks between Tottenham and Everton will continue today over the final price for Richarlison.
Tottenham could also pay an extra £10 million in add-ons to bring the total fee to around £60 million. He has been at Everton since 2018 but is now hoping to test himself on the European stage. Tottenham would give him the platform and opportunity to do just that. Conte’s side qualified for the Champions League by finishing in fourth place last season.
Richarlison has been capped 36 times by Brazil. He has scored 53 goals in 152 games since joining Everton from Watford for £51 million. He scored 10 goals in 30 Premier League games last season to help Everton stay in the top flight. Richarlison will follow Yves Bissouma, Fraser Forster, and Ivan Perisic in joining Tottenham ahead of the new campaign.
Antonio Conte wanted as many as six new faces for the forthcoming campaign and is now one player short of his wishes.
